If you're a Zionist (like me!), or an Air Power Enthusist (also me!), the this DVD is for you! Beginning with its humble origins, the growth of the IAF is followed to the present. While I would have enjoyed a little more discussion of the IAF's early years, the coverage of Israel's victory in the Six Day War, when she stood alone (without US aircraft) and defeated better armed and numerically superior opponents, more than makes up for this. Riveting dogfight footage of IAF Mirages vs. Soviet built Migs. Other conflicts such as the Yom Kippur War are also coverd.
I found the evolution of the dogfight as revealed in the combat footage particually fascinating, as air combat went from machine guns and 20mm cannons in earlier encounters to missles in the Yom Kippur War. Interesting commentary by an Israeli combat Ace throughout the DVD.
