Most of the stands I looked at had a disclaimer about mounting anything over a 10" miter saw and, since I have a Dewalt 12" sliding compound miter saw, I was a little wary about this stand. After reading the other reviews here, I ordered it, received it in 3 days (standard shipping) and setup/mounted the saw in about 30 minutes with no problems. It is definitely a sturdy stand with the Dewalt beast attached. I did notice it is a little awkward to remove the mounted saw (there are 2 latches that need to be disengaged) but it's still manageable. I may try to rig up something that can release them simultaneously. The side rails extend/retract/lock very easily and seem to be interchangeable.
All-in-all, a quality piece of equipment at a price about half of some of the other stands out there.
